Ms. Ariadna Nacianceno

Ariadna is a pianist with 27 years of experience performing in Cuba(my country of origin) as well as the US. Since she graduated in 1995 she has been a collaborative pianist for a variety of instrumentalists, voice major students, professional lyric singers and choral ensembles. Ariadna worked for almost 15 years combined at the "Cuban Superior Institute of Art" and the "Voice School of the Cuban National Lyric Theater".

Ariadna has also been fortunate to be able to play Latin Music as well, which she enjoys very much. She was a member of the cuban "Big Band Orquesta Riverside", conducted by her father Raul Nacianceno and in the US, she's been part of "Orquesta K'che" since 2012.

A special place in her heart and musical career was being part, for 12 years, as a singer and pianist, of "Schola Cantorum Coralina'', a world recognized Cuban choral institution. They were very active performers in Cuba and had the opportunity and honor to represent their country in festivals and contests abroad. Since arriving in the United States she has collaborated with UNC Music Department students, the Katherine Posner "Vocal Studio" and in 2014 started as the collaborative pianist for the NC State Music Department.
